heyyah everyone..just wanna say that im home from sarikei! :D

was there over the march break with a few frens for the inter division basketball competition

kuching came in second! :D

under 16!

hey...just wanna update y'all :D

firstly.game 5 and 6 has been played out and Princeton was matched up with Siburan in the Semi-Finals to fight for a place in the finals for the 1st and 2nd place.
St Jo was up against Batu Kawa in the same stage.

after that stage.St Jo emerged victorious and so did Siburan, who beat us 64 to 46.

in the finals.St Jo managed to take down Siburan for the champion slot with a 21 point lead.
Siburan ended it in 2nd place.

Fighting for the 3rd and 4th placing was Princeton and Batu Kawa.
At half time,
Princeton was down as much as 16 points.
But we never gave up.
At the end of the third. Princeton managed to get back up within ONE point
in the fourth.Princeton managed to lead as much as 9 points but was quickly cut down in the final seconds.

During the last 7 seconds of regulation time.Batu Kawa had the ball and Princeton was up by a single point.

Batu Kawa saved the time and just for one final shot for the win.

Final score was 60-59...

Princeton..emerged victorious!
and i am happy to say that princeton has obtained third placing overall in the competition.

i am also proud to say that FOUR players in my team were selected for the first round selection of the Kuching Basketball team.

the players selected were :- Number 5 - Mark Eng
Number11- Nelson Voon
Number 14- Change Sze Hong
& Number 15 - Michael Tan

after the 3 day selection.
Mark,Sze and Myself advanced and managed to grab a spot in the team.
Mike didnt manage to make the cut...
(sorry mike .><)

Also..Another team mate.Chiaw Hui was selected to represent Samarahan Basketball Team

The competition between the divisions will be held sometime during the March holidays in Sarikei as i was told.

game 4

heyyahh all :D

just wanna let you know.that game 4 is over..and Princeton has managed to DEMOLISH the Saints.

at the end of the first.we left the saints in a 2 point deficit. and we were worried it would be a tough and close game.

by half time. princeton managed to obtain a lead of 20 points
damn im proud of my team :D

and we played on~

at the end of the third..we lead as much as 29 points

and at the end of the game.we emerged victorious leaving the saints in a 33 point deficit! :D

and im happy to say that i've obtained 22 poitns for my team in the game:D MAN OF THE MATCH! :D
haha

mike managed to swipe 12 points and shelby had 15

bryan and lazyman(chonggg) managed to get 9 points apiece.

as for the rest of the team.im sorry..didnt count 4 u.haha.
and kelvin king got 4 fouls in the first. ==
1 foul away from being foul out.haha..but he managed to stay in the game till the end :D

anyways..

Princeton has advanced to round 2 of the competition.the semi finals :D

we should be playing against siburan at 915 tomorrow!
same place
winning would mean we would probably challenge st jo again for the 1st and 2nd position.

losing would mean we would play with either batu kawa or 5th mile for the 3rd and 4th palce position.please come and support! :D

under 16 bball

hey y'all.this is gonna be a rushed post cos im not supposed to be online at the moment
just i just thought u all should know.

game 2 and 3 of our under 16 basketball competition has been played out

and i want to congratulate all of the players in st jo basketball team who were able to fry us in game two leaving us in a huge hole.

they demolished us 65-39.

players of st jo.you played well.keep it up :D

and as for game 3.which was played tonight.
it was a close game all way through
i was out of the game from the start of the third due to back injury and my team had to play on without me.

i am extremely proud to say that princeton has emerged victorious in the game against sentosa basketball team in game 3.

Princeton left Sentosa in a 6 point deficit taking them down 49-43.

Congrats to players of sentosa as you have played just as well as we did.

Game 4 will be held on Saturday the 28th of Feb
at 2pm.
held at the MBKS stadium as usual.

please do come to support us as we are going to face the Saints in a battle to get into the semi finals.

defeating the Saints.even by a point.would mean that Princeton, along side St jo will advance to the next round of the competition.
so yeah.please do come and support.
